Are you ready to Forge Your Legacy? Step into the challenge of a lifetime at The Legacy Trials. Our event is typically broken into two phases and can be a bit complex for those new to the experience. Take a chance to read and learn more about one of a kind event below.
Prior to the competition, each player will select a charity to compete for during The Legacy Trials. Players are required to raise a minimum of $500 for their selected charity but are encouraged, and incentivized, to raise more! Additionally, players are incentivized to seek out companies to financially support the event.
At the end of Phase 1, the total amount raised for the selected charity as well as any corporate partnerships obtained will earn the player "Hexels", The Legacy Trials in-game currency. Players will earn 1 Hexel for every $100 raised (via charity or corporate partnership). For Example: A player that fundraises $750 for their charity and obtains a $250 partner for the event would earn 10 Hexels to be spent in the game.
Phase 1: Fundraising and Legacy Partners
Phase 2: The Weekend-Long Competition
After raising the $500 for their charities, the players will be invited to compete in The Legacy Trials. In this four-day event players will compete in a social-strategy game filled with challenges in hopes of earning the title of "The Legacy Champion". As the players arrive they will be informed of the number of Hexels they have received thanks to their fundraising and corporate partnership efforts. Hexels will be primarily used at "The Outpost", allowing players the opportunity to spend their earnings on a variety of in-game advantages, amulets, and rewards. Some of these items are available at a listed cost, and others are only available via raffles. Players may spend as many Hexels as they'd like for multiple entries to these raffles and increase their chances of winning, but the raffle draw will ultimately determine who gets the item! Players will use these advantages throughout the competition which is played as follows:
Team Phase
At the start of the game all players will be placed on a Team which they will compete with in a series of Immunity Challenges (and sometimes Bonus Challenges for other luxuries and advantages). Winning the immunity challenge guarantees safety for all players on the team. For the losing team they will be forced to head to The Forge where they will vote for a player to eliminate from The Legacy Trials. At The Forge, players will have a final group deliberation before privately casting their votes one by one at The Voting Chest. The player with the most votes is eliminated. The game is played in this format until The Unity.
At a predetermined point in the game, players will reach "The Unity" where teams are dissolved and players now shift to competing for Individual Immunity. Players who win the immunity challenge will be safe from elimination. All players will then head to The Forge to vote some out of the game. Some of these players will form the Jury that will ultimately decide the The Legacy Trials Champion. At the end of the game, the remaining players and the jury will head to The Final Forge, where the jury will ask questions, discuss, and deliberate before casting a vote for who they believe deserves the title of Legacy Trials Champion.
