The Legacy Trials is approaching its third season! There is no better time than now to apply to be a player in The Legacy Trials: Season 3! If you have been waiting to take part in an adventure that can make an impact, this is the event for you. Season 3 takes place June 17-20, 2027.

The Legacy Trials wrapped up its first two seasons! Take a stroll down memory lane and learn more about all of the crazy things that went down on The Legacy Trials: Nova Rising and The Legacy Trials: Northern Bloom! Season 1 and 2 may be finished, but there are more exciting things to come in the years ahead for MCT’s first event.
Between our first two seasons, The Legacy Trials has had over 100 volunteers, over 30 players, and has raised over $60,000 for 35 different charities!

The competition is simple, players will be put into teams to start the game, and these teams will compete against one another in challenges for safety. If a team loses a challenge, they will be forced to vote one of their own out. At a certain point in the game, all players will leave their teams and come together to compete as individuals for individual safety. Anyone who does not win safety is at risk of being voted out. When only a few players remain, the players most recently voted out of the game will return to vote for a winner.

We are seeking a diverse group of competitors that are looking for an adventure. Whether you are 18 and just graduating high school, 63 and just about to retire, or somewhere in the middle, we encourage you to join our community. There are absolutely no requirements to playing our game (other than a minimum age limit of 18 at the time of the event), we want anyone who has the urge to forge their own legacy to take part in this crazy adventure!

During the fundraising process, each contestant is expected to raise $500 as a minimum for their charity. If that sounds like a lot, don’t worry, we will have tips and tricks in place to help you overcome that hurdle. We also collect a $50 game fee within 7 days of you being selected to be a part of the cast. This goes towards miscellaneous event expenses.
Contestants will be able to select the charity of their choice that they will compete for during the event. We encourage you to apply to play for a charity that you have a personal connection to. Think about a cause that you want to be a part of your legacy.
The $50 game fee goes towards Midwest Charity Trials, but all funds you fundraise will either go directly towards your charity or the "pooled funds" that everyone will be competing for during the weekend of the competition.

Although the location may change from year to year, The Legacy Trials will be hosted in the suburbs of the Minneapolis metropolitan area in Minnesota.
Whether you are from Minnesota or not, we have a hospitality team that will work towards making your time in and outside of the game, a memorable one.

The Legacy Trials is a summer event that will take place in the woods of Minnesota. Summers in Minnesota are a beauty, but this event will force contestants to fight for survival as they face the elements (and the heat)!

Midwest Charity Trials is a welcoming community that puts a focus on it's members, giving back to important causes, and doing so in a fun and competitive way. Meeting friends as adults can be hard, but Midwest Charity Trials is a unique community, that brings all walks of life together, and has become a safe space for building relationships.
