Are you ready to Prove Your Power? Step into the challenge of a lifetime at The Power Trials. Our event is typically broken into two phases and can be a bit complex for those new to the experience. Take a chance to read and learn more about this one-of-a-kind event below.

Power to Pardon

The Battleground

Before the ballots are announced, the three nominees will head to The Battleground” where they will compete in a challenge for “Immunity”. The winner will earn safety, meaning any votes that were just cast against them at The Hearing will not count. The remaining ballots will then be revealed, and the player with the most votes will be impeached. This continues until only three players remain.

Prior to the competition, each player will select a charity of choice that they want to compete for, and they will be required to raise a minimum of $600 for their charity. Players are also encouraged to help find companies to financially partner with our event.

At the end of this period, the total amount of money that each player fundraises and obtains in corporate partnership earns them “Power Balls”, which can earn them power in the game. For every $100 that a player fundraises for their charity, or that they obtain in partnerships for the event earns them 1 Power Ball. (i.e. if a player fundraises $750 and earns a $250 partner for the event, they would earn 10 Power Balls)

Phase 1: Fundraising and Power Partners

Phase 2: The Weekend-Long Competition

After the fundraising period has concluded, players will show up to compete in The Power Trials during the weekend of the event. They will be fighting to win the game and to earn the title of “The Power Player”. As the players arrive, they will be told how many Power Balls they received through the fundraising portion. The Power Balls will be used each round to give a player the “Power to Pardon”. There could be amulets hidden around the house that players can find and use to improve their game, or hinder another players game. A round in the game is typically broken into three-four parts. Here is a description of each below:

Power Challenge

To start each round, players will compete against one another in the Power Challenge. The winner will become the Speaker of the House, which earns them safety for the week and gives them the responsibility for appointing four players to face The Trial, and possible impeachment. The Speaker of the House is eligible to earn this title multiple weeks in a row. The Speaker of the House is not able to vote.

After the four players have been selected for Impeachment by the Speaker of the House, someone will earn the secret Power to Pardon. This power is selected at random from the remaining Power Balls in the Power Cage. The player that earns this power gets to grant immunity to one of the four nominated players in total secrecy. The last round this will occur is during the final five.

The Hearing

After the nominee has been pardoned, we will head straight into “The Hearing”. The nominees must plead their case to their fellow players as to why they should not be eliminated. Then, every player besides the nominees and The Speaker of the House will privately head to the “Confession Chamber” and cast their vote to eliminate one of the three remaining nominees from The Power Trials.
